Base Game

Grasslands
Wide open plains covered in tall grass and dotted with flowers. A safe starting biome with abundant basic resources.

Forest
Dense woodland full of Evergreen Trees. Primary source of Logs and Pine Cones. Watch out for Treeguards.

Savanna
Hot, dry grassland home to Beefalo herds. Excellent source of Beefalo Wool, Manure, and Meat.

Rockyland
Barren, rocky terrain dotted with boulders and Tallbird nests. Primary source of Rocks, Flint, Gold, and Gems.

Swamp
Murky wetland filled with deadly Tentacles, Merms, and Mosquitoes. Dangerous but has unique resources.

Caves
Underground world accessed through Sinkholes. Constant dusk/night cycle. Home to unique creatures and resources.

Ruins
Ancient civilization remains deep below the caves. Contains the most powerful items and the Ancient Guardian boss.

Chess Biome
Marble-floored areas guarded by Clockwork enemies. Contains Maxwell's statues and Clockwork set pieces.

Graveyard
Eerie area with dug-up graves. Digging graves gives random items but spawns Ghosts and drains sanity.

Shipwrecked

Beach
Sandy tropical shoreline where players spawn at the start near wreckage of a broken boat. An excellent starting biome with abundant essential resources and tidal flooding mechanics.

Jungle
Dense tropical forest teeming with Jungle Trees, Viney Bushes, and Snakes. The primary source of Logs, Bamboo, and Vines in Shipwrecked. Extremely dangerous at night.

Magma Field
Dark, craggy volcanic terrain characterized by Magma Piles and volcanic rock formations. A resource-rich biome valuable for obtaining rocks and gold.

Tidal Marsh
Shipwrecked's variant of the Marsh biome, covered in Tidal Marsh Turf. Contains Tidal Pools instead of Ponds and Flups instead of Tentacles.

Coral Reef
Shallow ocean areas filled with Coral Reefs that can be mined for Coral and hammered for Limestone. A renewable ocean resource biome essential for Shipwrecked crafting.

Mangrove
Water-covered biome with green terrain accessible only by boat. Home to Mangrove Trees and Water Beefalo. Acts as a transition between ocean and land biomes.

Ocean
The vast ocean surrounding all islands, divided into Shallow, Medium, and Deep zones plus the Ship Graveyard. Navigated by boat with unique resources and dangers at each depth.

Volcano
A unique interior biome accessed by climbing the Volcano structure found in the Deep Ocean. Contains Obsidian, Coffee Plants, and the Altar of Snackrifice. Erupts during Dry Season.
Hamlet

Pig City
A civilized biome exclusive to Hamlet featuring pig-built architecture, shops, and guards. Two cities exist per world: Swinesbury (spawn island) and Palace City (accessed through Ruins).

Painted Biome
A distinctive biome with colorful terrain, rich in Iron Ore and mineral resources. Home to Thunderbirds and Gnat Mounds, making it both valuable and hazardous.

Rainforest
A lush biome characterized by green leafy turf and abundant Rainforest Trees. The safest of the three rainforest variants, with basic resources and mild dangers.

Deep Rainforest
A darker, more dangerous variant of the Rainforest with red leaf-like turf, dense canopy effects, and Ancient Pig Ruins entrances. Home to Spider Monkeys and Snaptooth Flytraps.

Gas Rainforest
A toxic variant of the Rainforest filled with poisonous gas clouds. Sick Rainforest Trees replace normal ones, and a Gas Mask or Particulate Purifier is essential for safe exploration.

Lily Pond
A serene wetland biome with water features, Lily Pads, and Lotus Flowers. Home to the Hippopotamoose, a deceptively dangerous neutral mob.

Wild Plains
Open grasslands with Tall Grass fields, Claw Palm Trees, and Stone Slabs. A relatively safe biome with food plants and Peagawks hiding among the vegetation.

Cultivated
The farmland surrounding Pig City, one of the safest biomes in Hamlet. Pig Farmers tend crops and Pig Miners work boulders while Watch Towers and Guards provide security.

Battleground
A war-torn biome scattered with the remnants of ancient pig conflicts. Features scorched earth, ruined structures, and aggressive mobs making it one of Hamlet's most hostile surface biomes.

Pinacle
A remote island biome accessible only after being carried there by the BFB. Contains the BFB's Nest with Petrified Eggs and the Regal Scepter, a key item for the Pig Queen questline.

Ancient Pig Ruins
Underground dungeon-like areas accessed through Ruinous Entrances found in Plains, Rainforest, Deep Rainforest, and Gas Rainforest biomes. Filled with traps, puzzles, and valuable treasure.
